She was born in Milan but her parents are both from Cairo. His father came to Italy when he was young, and during his life in Italy has built a solid business and together with his wife a family of five children. One of them Sarah is now a brilliant Italian-Egyptian student at Milan’s Pharmaceutical University. Every year the whole family moves back to Cairo for a few months. They still have a house there, some relatives and friends. Sarah’s family home is in a beautiful street next to the city center and the River Nile. Their street and neighborhood are a kind of “little Cairo” in a single road: full of life, people and energy. Once I asked them: “How do you fell when you came back to MIlan, after such full immersion of feelings in Cairo?”. “We fell a little bit strange, at the beginning”. They say. “But at the end we realize that we really miss it”.
